HOW TO REPLACE YOUR BATTERY WRAPS

PREPARATION: Gather new battery wraps, a heat gun or hairdryer, scissors, and an insulator ring.

REMOVE OLD WRAP: Carefully cut and remove the old wrap using scissors. Be cautious not to damage the battery cell or the positive insulator ring.

INSPECT BATTERY: Inspect the battery for any signs of damage or corrosion before applying the new wrap. Do not use if damaged.

APPLY NEW WRAP: Slide the new wrap over the battery, leaving a small overhang at each end. Ensure it is centered.

REUSE INSULATOR RING: Place the original insulator ring on the positive end before shrinking the wrap. If the original insulator ring is no longer available, you can wrap the battery without it.

HEAT SHRINK: Use a heat gun or hairdryer to evenly heat the wrap, starting from the middle and working towards the ends. Avoid overheating.

FINAL INSPECTION: Ensure the wrap is smooth, securely in place, and there are no gaps or loose areas.
